What's inside the glass
The core is a PDLC layer: a film with liquid crystals in a polymer.
Without voltage the crystals lie scattered. They diffuse the light: the glass is frosted.
Apply voltage and the crystals line up neatly. Light passes straight through: the glass is clear.
Switching happens with a button, a remote or a wall switch.
Also for new windows: then we laminate the film into the glass itself. Just mention it in your request.
